On Saturday Michael &
Heather Baker met with Raven & Lain Bower in Lansing Michigan. The Meeting
was to go over last minute changes to "THE NANO EFFECT" Screen play. The
meeting lasted approximately four hours as the small group talked about the
project in great detail. We expect we will see the completion of the first
draft of the screenplay sometime in mid December. Sure looks like its going
to be a great Christmas!

We are proud to announce the newest
member of Team Nano!
Natashia Johnson will be
producing "THE NANO EFFECT" along with director Michael Baker.
Natashia is a Wayne State University graduate. And has a B.A.
in Media Arts with emphasis in Radio, Television, Film Production.
Natashia has the drive
and commitment to see this project through from start to finish. The only
thing holding her back is....Well nothing! As you are reading this she is
moving full force on the project making calls, tracking down information and doing all
the the things a good Producer does! Her professionalism is a great addition
to our crew.

Speaking of Commitment!
Raven and her Husband
Lain have been sending updates. And everything looks fantastic. They are
doing a phenomenal job with "THE NANO EFFECT" screenplay. It has far
exceeded the original concept. We are in for quite
a ride! We all can't wait for filming to begin. Keep checking back for more info as it comes in!

Mad Lab Film has been very fortunate
to have been networking with other great Independent Filmmakers. Not to mention all
the great Actors through out Michigan. We are sure you have noticed some of
them to the right in the friends of Mad Lab Section.
We are proud of Michigan and its
talented people. There are some great projects out there and we wish all of
them great success! So keep up the good work guys!

On
August 18th Mad Lab Films were invited to attend Virginia
Bryant’s Calendar of Colors Fashion Show in Detroit an event sponsored by
Checkmate TV and Fun and Fantasy.
 On
August 18th Mad Lab Films were invited to attend Virginia
Bryant’s Calendar of Colors Fashion Show in Detroit an event sponsored by
Checkmate TV and Fun and Fantasy.
It was
an outstanding runway event which was not only professionally produced, but
fun and entertaining for all who attended. The evening started with relaxed
atmosphere where guest were able to converse and get to know one another as
they enjoyed refreshments. As the show started we were treated to beautiful
models showcasing some of Fun and Fantasy’s superb Lingerie and Bikini line.
As the
evening progressed we were treated to some clips form Checkmate TV as the
models changed outfits. And then we were surprised by a duet with
Kristina and Nicole, two of the show's
models. Overall with great looking, friendly models, wonderful outfits and
great music how could you go wrong? We eagerly look forward to next year’s
event!

We are overwhelmed with the
response we are receiving about Mad Lab Films and our first project THE NANO
EFFECT. Some very helpful and interesting people in and around Michigan have
been showing a great deal of interest in Mad Lab Films and our projects. We are
not just finding actors but actors with a passion for our success. We want to
thank each and everyone of you! And we look forward to working with you in the
near future. |
